Over the past year, BSSN has forged new partnerships and been involved with several organisations which it hopes to work with in the future.
Of special interest, was our British Council sponsored trip to Jos Nigeria, which was attended by a member of our staff which was twinned with the co-ordinator of CEPAN - a voluntary organisation fighting advocacy and promoting peace - in JOS, Plateau State, Nigeria.
BSSN has also become an affiliate of the Anna Lindh Foundation (ALF) and one of our staff went to Barcelona to give a presentation as part of the EuroMed conference there. It was a very vibrant community gathering and we are hoping to establish some international partners because of it.
The Trailblazers Programme, managed by Bradford Council has been instrumental in widening our provision to marginalised communities in Bradford.
